Dormly began its journey during Anthony's freshman year when the idea struck him and his mom as they embarked on a dorm room makeover adventure. Inspired by his mom's passion for creating a unique and cozy space—reminiscent of her cherished "sheshed" back home, a basic chicken coop that turned into a luxury coop sanctuary—they decided to apply the same concept to Anthony's dorm room. The transformation was remarkable, turning their bland space into a personalized haven that caught the attention of fellow students and parents during move-in week. Their awe and admiration sparked the idea to extend their services to others, and thus, Dormly was born. Founded with a shared passion for enhancing the college living experience, Dormly strives to create spaces where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being that extends beyond the physical confines of their rooms. With the support and guidance of his professor, Anthony approached Adrian College. Countless meetings with key members of the college, including administrators, dean, president, vice president, maintenance, and housing officials, paved the way for Dormly's approval to customize rooms for other students on campus. Today, Adrian College proudly showcases two mock rooms designed by Dormly during student visits and events, highlighting the company's dedication to enhancing the college living experience for all.
